The cold I thought I had turned out the be Strep. The nice thing about that is a couple of doses of antibiotics and I feel almost completely back to normal! Last year I had mastitis on her birthday. My body seems to remember that April 8 is a day to feel pain.

Girl Scout cookie season: one of the few good things about Winter. Everyone has their favorites. Personally, I hate both coconut and mint chocolate. But give me peanut butter and chocolate and I’m a very happy person. As a kid I adored Tagalongs.
Lorelei is such a curious kid. She wants to know the hows, whys, whats, and wheres of everything. To an annoying degree. I don’t know why keys are shaped like that or how balloons are made. No, I cannot tell you the exact details of everything we are doing, going to do, or have done. I am not sure what year Obama was born.
I was going to give everyone a pre-holiday sneak preview of all the cool Nat Geo Kids swag I’ve gotten. I mean, that’s when normal bloggers create gift guides and when normal people buy gifts.
Planning vacations or… anything… has become a game of Germ Roulette. Mostly it is Rowan who is our vector of plague, but the rest of us like to chip in and do our part from time to time. I’m pretty sure I have a sinus infection but I didn’t think that would preclude Thanksgiving activities. It originated from a cold that Rowan gave me, so I thought we were pretty safe.
Halloween is over, which evidently means it’s past time to start talking about Christmas. It’s also still November, which is Prematurity Awareness Month. I decided to combine the two.
