He has gained half a pound since birth (more if you look at his lowest weight)!

I asked today about criteria for discharge (obviously knowing we’re nowhere near that point yet).

He has to take all feeds by mouth for two days.

No significant As, Bs, or Ds (apnea, bradycardia, desats) for one week.

Be at least four pounds.

Pass the car seat test.

They will only estimate “by his due date” for going home.  But a lot of babies go home a few weeks before that.  So the earliest he is likely to go home would be early June.
